The foundation of HOOT is based on five guiding pillars. 

The pillars were carefully selected, and resembles HOOT's entity in the community. All members of HOOT will be encouraged to explore each pillar through various opportunities provided to them. The guiding pillars are essential as they will be used to steer Hmong Ohio youth towards becoming leaders in the thriving Hmong community.
